Five of our recipes for fireworks night, from a cinnamon and sea salt hot chocolate to a Dutch baby big enough to share.
Bonfire Night is Thursday 5 November 2026. Whether you're at an organised display or in the back garden with sparklers, these are the recipes we make every autumn. Each one uses a scoop of NO CRASH, and either version works.
1. What's the best hot chocolate for Bonfire Night?
Our cinnamon and sea salt hot chocolate. It takes five minutes and goes straight into a flask.

You need:
- 1 scoop NO CRASH
- 200ml unsweetened almond or oat milk
- 1 tsp cacao nibs, or a few 70% dark chocolate chips
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
Method: Heat the milk until steaming, not boiling. Whisk in the NO CRASH, cacao nibs, cinnamon and salt until smooth. Sweeten to taste, then top with a few more nibs or a pinch of cinnamon. It looks good in a skull glass, if you've still got one out from Halloween.
2. How do I make a NO CRASH tiramisu latte?
A coffee-shop dessert in a mug, for the grown-ups.

You need:
- 1 shot of espresso, or strong coffee
- 120ml NO CRASH, made up as usual
- 120ml milk of your choice
- 1 tbsp low-calorie creamer
- A dusting of NO CRASH powder
Method: Make up the NO CRASH. Brew the espresso. Heat and froth the milk. Stir the NO CRASH, espresso and creamer together in a mug, pour the frothed milk on top and dust with NO CRASH powder.
The espresso adds its own caffeine on top. For a lower-caffeine mug, use decaf espresso and the caffeine-free version.
3. What is a Dutch baby, and how do I make one?
A Dutch baby is a big, puffed oven pancake: think sweet Yorkshire pudding. It's crisp at the edges, soft in the middle and big enough to share before you head out.

You need:
- 3 eggs
- 150ml milk of your choice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 1 scoop NO CRASH
- 100g plain flour
- 20g butter
- Maple syrup and your favourite toppings, to serve
Method:
- Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
- Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and NO CRASH until smooth, then whisk in the flour until just combined.
- Put the butter in an ovenproof frying pan and heat it in the oven until it's melted and sizzling.
- Pour the batter into the hot pan and bake for 20 minutes, until puffed and golden.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and toppings.
4. What can I take to a fireworks display?
Energy balls. They're four ingredients, no baking, and they fit in a coat pocket.

You need:
- 1 cup (about 90g) rolled oats
- 1 scoop NO CRASH
- 1 tbsp honey, or maple syrup to keep them vegan
- 2 to 4 tbsp peanut butter
Method: Mix everything in a bowl, starting with 2 tbsp of peanut butter and adding more until it holds together. Roll into bite-sized balls and chill for at least 10 minutes. They keep in an airtight box in the fridge for up to a week.
5. What's an easy chocolate dessert for a Bonfire Night party?
Our chocolate mousse. Make it in the afternoon, and it's set by the time the fireworks finish.

You need:
- 3 large eggs, separated (use British Lion eggs, as the whites aren't cooked)
- 180g plain Greek yogurt, or silken tofu
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 scoop NO CRASH
- A pinch of sea salt
- 100g dark chocolate
Method:
- In a pan over a low heat, whisk the egg yolks, yogurt, maple syrup, flour, vanilla and salt until smooth and just warm. Take off the heat and leave to cool.
- Melt the chocolate and stir it into the cooled mixture.
- Whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks.
- Gently fold the chocolate mixture and the NO CRASH into the egg whites.
- Spoon into glasses and chill for at least 2 hours.

How do I keep hot chocolate hot in a flask?
- Preheat the flask. Fill it with boiling water, close it for five minutes, then empty it before filling.
- Fill it to the top. Less air means less heat lost.
- Keep toppings separate. Take marshmallows or cinnamon in a tub and add them when you pour.
- Make it a little hotter than you'd drink it, then check the temperature before pouring.
Which version should I use?
Either. One has 50mg of natural caffeine (about half a cup of instant coffee). The other is caffeine-free, with no added caffeine. Same eleven actives either way: 1,000mg each of Lion's Mane, Chaga, Cordyceps and Reishi, plus KSM-66 Ashwagandha, Rhodiola, Maca and vitamins B6, B12, D3 and K2.
NO CRASH is for adults (18+). If you're making anything for children, leave the NO CRASH out of theirs.

Steady energy, a clear head, no crash. 50mg caffeine or caffeine-free.
