Two Newcastle events, one hot chocolate stand. Here's what we got up to at Show Up North's Joy Weekender and FITPro-X Live.
This October we packed up the stand, the flasks and a lot of cups, and took NO CRASH to two events in Newcastle: Show Up North's Joy Weekender (9 to 11 October) and FITPro-X Live at the Boiler Shop (25 October).
What is Show Up North?
Show Up North is Show Up Club's women's lifestyle and joy festival. The first one ran from 9 to 11 October 2026 in Newcastle, with three days of spin, strength, cheerleading, dance, barre, running and more.
What did we do there?
We ran a NO CRASH stand and served hot chocolate all weekend. Thank you to the Show Up Club team for having us, and to everyone who stopped by the stand.
What is FITPro-X Live?
FITPro-X Live is a fitness event for people who work in, and love, the industry: live workouts, networking, and fitness brands and professionals in one room. Its organisers say they started it "because we were tired of watching the fitness industry through a phone screen". This year it was on Sunday 25 October, from 10am to 6pm, at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle.
What did we do at FITPro-X?
We had a NO CRASH stand in the Boiler Shop, with both versions on the table and the flasks on the go. That's Jonathan and Victoria on the stand in the photo at the top of this page.
Thanks to everyone who came over for a chat, a cup or a pack. The energy in the room was electric, and the workouts and talks were inspiring.
Where can I find NO CRASH next?
At the Mini Wellbeing Market in Ouseburn on Friday 13 November, 4pm to 9pm, as part of Ouseburn's Christmas light switch-on and Christmas Market. There will be free movement workshops alongside health and wellbeing stalls, so come and find us for a hot chocolate between sessions.
